The project was elaborated for a local wine producer. The region of Goutterelle is rich in soils on basalt rocks which are great for cultivation of grapes. The owner would like to stand out with an architecture that represents the importance of his work.
Inspired by local traditional houses and improved into a contemporary one, the house is compliant with the location and the orientation of the plot. It is a rectangular shape with two corners cut off at 45 degrees. Thus it has six facades each one pointing at a different view. When inside, one can discover the full 360 degree panoramic view through a multitude of smaller framed views in each space.
The house is built in concrete that reinforces its monolithic appearance similar to a rock and thus approaches it to the nature.
