Production Postponed - Filmmaking behind the pandemic

A series focusing on people in TV/Film and Videomaking industry and the challenges they are facing due to the current pandemic crisis. Moreover, we will learn how new opportunities occur for filmmakers through this unusual situation. Many countries have put in place a lockdowns. As a consequence, on-going productions are being postponed, cancelled or filming is continued with new measurements. We are very interested in learning what measurement have been taken in different countries, and what effect the pandemic has on the work in TV & Film currently and how you think it will influence future projects. In each episode, we will shed light to a person from the industry who will talk about how the current situation changed the production flow and shapes in the industry.

Is the Television industry indestructible?

In the first episode, we meet Erica Von Stein - a freelance TV Producer and Photographer based in Glasgow and London. She describes how the pandemic led to the cancellation of the production she was currently working on and is questioning the uncertain future of Television. Is it still worth it to be a Television producer?
In the second episode, we meet Aman Singh - an independent Writer and Director from Punjab (India).
He describes how the lockdown and social distance affect his writing and creative process. Moreover, he wonders about the future of the film industry: Will we have enough content if social distancing continues?
