PROJECT 1

This was one of the first projects I was planning to do myself this year focusing on cultural identities and subcultures. I was planning to work with my friends who are a stylist, makeup artist, and journalist. We are going to work together to build up our portfolio's and then when we start getting recognized we'll start charging people but I am going to be planning all the photoshoots, taking the pictures and art direction. Originally I wanted to focus on creatives around London but I wanted to expand as I have some friends abroad. I also wanted to be interviewing them but the majority wanted to keep themselves lowkey so I just wanted the images to speak for themselves. I wanted to focus on these topics: Black Love Poetry Lifestyle Beauty etc. But as the year has been going past as I'm now typing this in March I have realised that I am really busy with uni assignments plus my work but I have come to realise that I take some many freestyle pictures of people that make it look more casual/comfortable.
