Shaking up the flower industry in Australia is Little Succers. Known for their controversial, tongue in cheek messaging, this same-day succulent delivery service and Build Your Own Terrarium Bar quickly became the go-to millennial gift in the area.
Our mission was simple from the beginning - create a gifting alternative to flowers that a) didn’t cost the earth and b) didn’t take itself too seriously. Flowers are expensive and always associated with romance or sympathy, and while we love a good bunch of posies, we wanted to create an alternative that didn’t cost the earth (living in Sydney is cray expensive) and gave people a LOL. Enter Little Succers.
I (Coggles), was lucky enough to have the opportunity to create and develop this business with Dream & Do (my employer at the time). We conceptualised (and by that I mean I said “why isn’t there a business that delivers succulents to my desk), built the brand and, in my opinion, the jewel in the spiky crown, the tone of voice and social profile. It was this unique, quirky and bad-ass voice that set Little Succers apart from the industry (and soon to follow competitors).
