Psyche

This series of paintings is inspired by the Greek myth of Psyche and it researches the relationship between the inner psychic space and the internal space of the painting. Some of the works in this series are based on a technique similar to that of the bas-relief and they explore the tactility of the painterly matter creating a subtle modulation of tones of white in different textures of hand-modelled plaster. These images were taken at the Degree Show at the University of Arts Bucharest, June 2019
