Public Health England

The purpose of this campaign was to raise awareness of the damage smoking can do to your blood. Teaming up with the talented agency Dare and prosthetic artist Bill Turpin we helped take over a tunnel walkway at London Bridge Underground Station, turning it into a huge vein showing the negative effects of smoking. This involved a shoot where we replicated the look, texture and colour of blood slowly turning black from the effects of smoking. Alongside this we also shot a video version for a YouTube takeover where we experimented filming various liquids moving through water, which were then comped together in post production to achieve the final effect. A behind the scenes video of showing the making of the campaign was captured as we went along. These elements all amplified and worked alongside the existing TV and print campaign.
