Quintessentially British: By the Seaside

Sustainable denim womenswear collection, using fabrics made from organic cotton, low water usage processes, and without the use of toxic chemicals. An ironic exploration into the everyday lives of people who live and work in British coastal towns, in contrast to the tourists who holiday there. Drawing inspiration from the everyday realities of the local fishermen, focussing on their denim workwear, and reusing the fishing nets they work with, which also wash up on the British coastline. Imagery of vibrant, quirky and kitsch seaside holidays informs print design, to be printed on organic cotton drill, featuring denim detailing.
