Radio Times BBC Proms Supplement Cover Illustration

Over the past few months I’ve been honoured to receive a few commissions from The Radio Times the latest being to create an illustration for this years BBC Proms essential guide cover. The BBC Proms as many will know is an 8 week summer classical music festival held at the historic Royal Albert Hall in London and a key event of the music calendar. This year’s guide is based on the idea of ‘The Power of the Voice’. The brief was to create an image that featured the exterior of the Royal Albert Hall, with a giant female opera singer in full flow, towering above it and to make it celebratory and jubilant. A real pleasure to create, huge thanks to the team at The Radio Times for this bucket list opportunity.
