RAEH ~ an inspiring tale

  • Mansi Shah

The nature of the design is inspired by the local language Kannada which is spoken in Karnataka India, alongside the simplistic approach of minimal and organic touch of handwoven textures. What RAEH is all about! We are not just a fashion label, but also a voice propagating conscious, sustainable and eco-friendly lifestyle. We began our journey with a sole intention to travel back to the indigenous roots we have evolved from, to bring our glorious handmade crafts back into the picture and also to empower the artisans and small businesses. We aspire to see slow fashion become the new fast fashion. RAEH extensively supports Indian age-old crafts and paves a way for them to reach your lives through one of a kind fashion and lifestyle products that are modern yet connected to historical roots. The artisans, weavers’ clusters and small production houses form our team. “LESS IS MORE” – is what our designs speak !! The products at RAEH are meticulously and thoughtfully designed striking a perfect balance between trends, uplifting artisans and their crafts and affordability. We are dedicated to our Design Philosophy of using eco-friendly handloom or khadi fabrics, natural or azo-free dyes and also our sustainable processes with reuse, recycle and zero waste production concepts. RAEH is the outcome of a passionate desire to make a positive shift in the lives of people - by Rashmi Anneppanavar, a designer by profession and an activist by nature! https://www.instagram.com/raeh_conscious/
