Raleigh Nepal (Autumn Cycle 2018)

  • Natalie Bacon

I worked with Raleigh International as their Volunteer Expedition Photographer in Nepal, using photography to document the work created and experience had by the volunteers during the three months I was assigned there. I was required to work efficiently alone and as part of a larger communications team and follow assigned briefs, making sure to create work that fit in with Raleigh's core values/brand image. I used my initiative to make sure work was completed by the assigned deadlines and was required to make my own schedules for shoots. As well as this, I was also required to manage a group of 18-23 year old volunteers alongside a team of volunteer managers to ensure their safety and to make sure all voluntary work was being completed.
