Ralph & Russo Website

My role at Ralph and Russo was defined by two key projects that I was responsible for managing and executing simultaneously. The most significant part of my role was to help scope, plan and manage the development of Ralph & Russo's new e-commerce platform. I balanced the business's current needs and demands with the vision of what Ralph & Russo aimed to become to ensure that the platform could cater to all requirements. As the only developer in the business, the other side of my role was to develop and deliver constant enhancements to the current Magento 1.9 e-commerce platform. This project required both frontend development using HTML, CSS & JavaScript and backend using PHP, Docker, Shell, and AWS. A few key highlights were developing a more effective object caching solution decreasing page load times and database calls. I also interrogated API in both PHP and JavaScript to external platforms such as Zendesk Customer Support, in-depth Google Analytics and Facebook Pixel. I introduced an operational improvement by introducing product SKU's. I executed a complete server migration away
