Reading Head Start Program By Sarah Shepard

According to their website, the Reading Head Start Program was created by an English teacher, Sarah Shepard, who says that her program is based on a reading method “the education system does not want you to know.” This system is described as being completely effective, no matter what level or learning experience your child is starting at.

Reading is a wonderful habit best inculcated during early childhood. A child who loves reading will never be at a loss for things to do.Science reveals that the first five years of life are most critical for brain development, and the most learning happens at this time. There is no doubt in saying that reading is one of the most important processes involved in the journey of learning new things and gaining knowledge about them. Therefore, children who have a habit of reading in their early ages of life are way more knowledgeable than the ones who start reading later. Moreover, the thirst for gaining knowledge and reading new things keep on increasing in such people who have this habit since childhood. Reading Head Start

When you decide to use the Program all you need is around 15 minutes a day for around 3 days a week. It can be easily incorporated into your child’s routine. The total progression of this program is 40 weeks, which is a little over 9 months. It also has been proven to prevent and reverse Dyslexia. It not only helps your child read but also arms you, the parent, with the required knowledge to support your child in their learning journey. Most importantly, it boosts their self-esteem that they can successfully learn how to read fluently. Self-confidence is a big deal, especially in early childhood education. We all know that kids learn faster the younger they are. Why not take advantage of this and get their little brains moving? Cognitive development can help in many different milestones. The more you can do to nurture this, the better off your child will be.
