An exploration into fear and clothing, Reasons To Be Fearful looks at how clothing and textiles have been historically used to both induce and combat anxiety. Drawing inspiration from everything from headmasters cloaks to amish quilts, the collection aims to showcase how clothing can impact our mood, and how textiles and craft can be used to help our mental health in these uncertain times- all while using sustainable materials. This Project showcases a deadstock cotton dress and hood, gathered using curtain tape. Type design by Finley Henson.
