REBEL

REBEL was a short live brief that I chose to take on alongside my main project during my final year. The aim of this brief was to react to the word 'REBEL'. I chose to create a publication that related alongside my main project which was centred around forms of masculinity. I wanted to highlight and focus on the toxic masculinity that was deep rooted within football and the negative emotions that are attached to it from a personal stand point. Using football magazines from the year I was born I tore out pages and wanted to spray paint my initial thoughts and reactions that I had when being exposed to the images. Nothing longer than specially 2 minutes, the marks and paint strokes resemble quick and instant emotional reactions.
