Normally, RECESS is a hip hop, r&b, dancehall and afrobeats club night. But this time, we’re giving DJs crews from London a stage to express themselves and compete for a cash prize and the unofficial crown of London’s Best DJ crew.
The clash started off with 5 crews who battled over 2 rounds in the Qualifier event in April 2018. The event was filmed and uploaded online. We asked viewers to vote for their favourite crew and the top 3 most voted crews would progress to the Final at KOKO Camden on the 3rd of June 2018.
