RECYCLED & COMPASSION ARE FASHION

•Compassion Is Fashion I have always deeply loved and followed fashion, but over time I started to move away from consumerism, getting closer and closer to the magical world of recycled. Years ago, my friend was getting rid of this amazing velvet dress, that I kept it for 3 years. The frame was given to me by an ex neighbour and coincidentally at that time I was studying about the important connection between the energies of the universe and unconditional love (compassion); with the chance that love is what apparently keeps the universe together. The idea here basically is to put the consumeristic fashion in a frame and tell the world what I think nowadays the real fashion is.. •Recycled Is Fashion The piece is self-explanatory. The rug inside the frame comes from the street. It caught my attention for its mélange effect. After a few months, when I found this frame, I was doing the another piece of work using tacks "Compassion Is Fashion" and from there the same idea to create: Recycled is fashion..
