Dizzee Rascal’s Mercury-winning debut album Boy In Day Corner arguably lit the touch paper of grime’s first wave. Imperative tracks such as ‘I Luv U’, ‘Fix Up Look Sharp’ and ‘Stop Dat’ as well as personal favourites like ‘Wot U On’ and ‘Jezebel’ defined a generation.
Safe to say it was more than an honour to lead the PR campaign for Dizzee’s return to the live London stage as he teamed up with Red Bull Music Academy for a performance of his debut in its entirety in October 2016.
The event scored widespread press attention, capturing the excitement we all felt for the record first time around.
