Reform Fashion

  • Anisha Chua

A social media activism campaign against fast fashion through the use of infographics and Instagram carousels – the most popular platform for Generation Z and Millennials. The aim of the project is to educate, reform the way people currently think about their clothes and to empower them with practical ways in which they can make a change. By educating the target audience, this will help them make climate conscious decisions in their daily lives. This project educates, informs and puts consumers at the centre for driving change towards a zero-carbon world.

In a capitalistic and globalized world, consumerism runs rampant without a care for its long-term environmental consequences. Today, the fashion industry alone accounts for 10% of global carbon emissions according to the United Nations Environment Programme – more than international flights and maritime shipping combined.
