Combining film, photography, music and sound design, this audiovisual installation offers a unique perspective on the climate emergency, grounded in the cultural backgrounds of our artists. Through stunning visuals and soundscapes presented in a new exhibition space at the Southbank Centre, it reflects on the urgent need for collective action. Reframe: The Residency Exhibition is a collaborative body of work by artists from Manchester, Birmingham and London, each facing the impact of climate change in different ways. The exhibition consists of 13 works by collectives of artists from the three regions. Responding to their familial heritage and backgrounds from the African continent and the Caribbean to the inner city urban landscapes of Britain, our artists offer a profound response to an emergency that disproportionately impacts on global majority communities. Wednesday 19 Jul - Sunday 27th August at The Southbank Centre Exhibition curated by Misan Harriman
