Remembering Srebrenica - "Remnants of Genocide" (2020)

This exhibition created by Remembering Srebrenica UK is a collection of artwork, stories, poetry, and photographs from genocide survivors and those impacted by the Bosnian war and genocide. Through this creative platform, we hope to showcase the truth of the ongoing effects of the Bosnian genocide and provide a space that will bring forward an attempt towards healing. This is a powerful and informative memorial exhibition, which includes a selection of paintings, photographs and poems... each with their own story to tell. The virtual exhibition has been producd as part of the 25th anniversary commemorations.

Every painting and photograph on display is interactive... allowing visitors to read more about the history of each piece, and to learn about the lives of the artists and people involved.
The exhibition also includes new paintings by internationally renowned and UNESCO RILA Affiliate artists Robert McNeil MBE and Iain Campbell, who have worked closely with Remembering Srebrenica for several years.
