In this feature review, I reflect on and review the plethora of pressures placed on the dancer athlete on seeing Christina Dionysopoulou’s exceptional piece, Catch 28, at The Place Theatre.

Catch 28 is an introspective female quartet and personal reflection on the coping mechanisms used when societal expectations affect being a dance artist.
The piece delves into themes of isolation, guilt and courage when it comes to inner anguish and outer conflicts.
