Revolut- Limited edition card pitch

Pitch proposal for Revolut Ltd; a UK financial technology company that offers online banking app & payment card that is an alternative to traditional bank products.

As part of the recruitment process for Revolut, I was asked to pitch a new short proposal for their limited edition card that celebrates a PRIDE related charity and promote their product “donations”. The idea was to create a intergrated approach where the design and the campaign ( both online & offline) are seamlessly integrated into the design element and are fully functional in across all advertising platforms.

Design Approach
Creating a limited edition card would promote the PRIDE charity and bring attention to the application. The design should be stylish, yet at the same time sophiscated to bring out the seriousness of the cause. Both approaches are fully adaptable for multiple media platforms, in particular video and animations.

Campaign Approach ( offline + online)
The campaign approach aims to generate brand awareness and increase brand’s positivity in both users and future users. By creating a intergrated online and offline campaign + influencer campaign we can generate a bigger echo in the community. In the design approach I chose elements that are flexible in order to represent the fludity of the Sexuality. This fluidty can also be used as a flexile brand element across different campaign channels. ( eg. rainbow ribbon ,flexible colour change in the Iridescence flag and segment movement within the rainbow structure) Using a tagline ( and/or hashtag) we can highlight the acessibility of the app product and be relatable to our target users. The Campaign can be very simple yet resonating at the same time, through the use of the tagline/hashstag. The hashtag can be used across multiple channels, both online and offline prints ( can be printed on there) intergrating both campaigns.
#revolutwithpride Revolut with Pride is a tagline that is etablished to be part of the intergrated campaign, aimed to raise awareness of pride related charities. Hashtag will be presented across all campaign whilst promoting the product.
Approach 1 - “Iridescence”
The rainbow is subtly introduced as a flag of Iridescence, where all colours merges and interchange into one another, representing the fludity of sexuality , non-binary and free. Using Cinema 4D, flag brings about an air of elegant subtlness in its celebration of PRIDE whilst at the same time marking Revolut’s clear position in its support for LGBTQ+ community. The card can be both printed digitally or with texture to enhance the Iridescence.
Approach 2 - “Defining the rainbow”
Dynamic rainbows represents the fludity of gender and sexuality. The brightly coloured rainbow proudly poses itself across all platforms, reaffirming its status and its presence in the society. Card is prdouced with transparent plastic to bright out the contrasting colours of the rainbow. The idea is playful, yet the message is bold and serious.
