Rice Bran Wax

  • Helen Zhang

Rice bran wax is a kind of natural plant wax, which is obtained when refined Rice bran oil is extracted from rice hull. The natural Rice bran oil contains about 3% of rice bran wax, which can be refined through deoiling, degumming, impurity removal, decoloring and other refining steps to obtain high purity rice bran wax. The appearance is hard and fine crystals, with a light yellow white to light brown solid and a slight smell of rice. It has a melting point of 75℃ and is soluble in chloroform, benzene, ethane, ether, and glycerol. It is insoluble in water and difficult to dissolve in ethanol. Rice bran wax is widely used in food, daily chemical, and chemical industries.

Green Springs Technology supplies Rice Bran Wax which is of natural plant source, non-GMO, safe, environmentally friendly, and sustainable. The rice bran wax adopts a physical process with no additive or solvent residue. It has a light color, fewer impurities, low acid value to slow the rancidity, and low gel content to provide good dispersibility in cosmetic formulations.
