I am the Marketing and Operations Manager for Rip It Up, a company based out of London that operates as a platform for creative and tech startups looking to network, learn and grow. We host a monthly live show with a panel of guests who discuss their companies/products, and are then led through a Q&A session with our founder and host. My role with the company has been steeped in communications, handling all the social media outlets (Twitter, Instagram, Facebook), as well as running the website and creating the copy for our monthly, post-show blog. Recently, we partnered with Paddington Works, a co-working space, to host an event for London Tech Week. Dozens of panelists shared their stories of ripping things up and starting again, and I was involved in facilitating the event coordination as well as writing several blog posts post-event.
