Road to to GQ magazine

A story I haven’t shared till now My close friend of almost 21 years came and had a Nandos with me a year before rona hit and midway through our meal said he wants to get into modelling. I paused and a smile played out across my face! I agreed that he had the potential but would only help him as long as he pushed for it more than me. It was his vision for himself and therefore had to take lead. We began the journey with other close friends taking pictures, securing studio spaces, going to casting calls, anything to get him into the world of modelling. He eventually had a portfolio that secured him an offer from a modelling agency and we took the time going through the paperwork, going to friends in legal to make sure it was good to sign. The first picture is one I took of him, the next three are ones he secured for himself for GQ magazine within the year of the journey beginning. I love seeing people win, even more so when they are a close friend
