The last ever jewellery graduates from our prestigous Rochester course! Anyone interested in studying jewellery at UCA can now join our new course (first cohort started 2019) at UCA Farnham, with the same longstanding team but with brand new facilities and workshops. Our BA (Hons) Jewellery & Silversmithing course is based on the traditions of craftsmanship, combined with a forward-thinking approach to designing and making. You’re encouraged to explore diverse approaches to jewellery and silversmithing and are provided with the specialist technical and creative skills required to develop, design and realise your ideas. We provide a stimulating creative environment where physical making and material investigation are at the core of what you’ll be doing, learning established hand skills and acknowledging the possibilities offered by digital making. You’ll have access to excellent workshops giving you the opportunity to work with a range of materials including metal, ceramics, glass, wood, plastics and textiles.
