Here are some photos from the launch of my first group exhibition "Roots" hosted at Bread and Butter lounge in shoreditch. This was the first time i had ever printed and framed my work, let alone bring together a huge community of London young creatives who showed up for the event. It was an incredible experience. I have chosen to use this event to nominate myself for a spot on the dazed 100 list as i think the most important part of my practise as a photographer has been bringing people together, with this exhibition being a successful example of that. I photograph people. I work with people. I am inspired by people. People are at the center of my practice so coming together as a community in person really brought home the potential photography has for creating human connection. In this upcoming year i want to bring more of my work and inspirations online into real life, creating more opportunities to connect and collaborate with my peers in person.
