ROSCA - MUSIC SINGLE ‘JACK’ SOCAL MEDIA RELATIONS AND PRESS We worked and supported Rosca a UK Rapper (and his wider team) on the launch of his single ‘Jack’. Our main role was to support on social content, press and media relations around the fundraiser for the single and the story behind it. Rosca’s World: campaign: launch single ‘Jack’. What we did: We were brought for the 3 month campaign to support Rosca on his up coming single ‘Jack’. His team reached out for us to work on social content and media/PR relations. - Assisted with setting up his Instagram and TikTok page, as well as working and assisting the digital and website team - Created content for his key social media channels. The content was built on communicating and telling his and Jacks story, engaging with the right target audience and media outlets. -Support on media relations across TV, radio, Podcasts, print and digital The campaign narrative/ story; One year on from the terrorist attack that resulted in two tragic deaths on London Bridge (29.11.19), one of Jack Merritt’s closest friends, an amateur singer-songwriter, whom he met through Cambridge University’s ‘Learning Together’ programme, Rosca Onya, is launching ‘Jack’, a memorial rap single in Jack’s memory. Rosca is hoping to raise £5,000 before the end of the year for non-profit organisations Learning Together, Just for Kids Law (JfKL) and JENGbA (Joint Enterprise Not Guilty by Association), from sales of his poignant and heartfelt single. Results: - Gained over 8,560 new followers (organically) - Gained re-shares on Insta via SANTAN (UK Rapper), Shaughna Phillips (Love Island) and support from other UK artists, journalists and radio presenters like Vanessa Feltz - Gain multiple press coverage across all media's such as; ITV This Morning BBC News/ BBC Radio 4/ BBC Radio 5 Live/ BBC Radio 6 SKY News Newsbeat GMB Telegraphy (print and online) and so much more - Raised over £5,060 for his single via Go Fund Me Our creativity helped to tell and push Rosca story on a national scale, that was touching and compelling. All of our combined efforts had a positive impact on the single launch, raising money and building brand awareness.
