Run The Gauntlet Vol 01: Interviews with Freelance Designers

Run The Gauntlet Vol. 01 is a 64 page A4 risograph print publication, each copy sewn individually by me. Featured in the university of brighton BA degree show, 'One Fifty', it features interviews with tons of great graphic design freelancers and artists from around the globe with questions about the realities of their jobs, creative contentment, thoughts on AI versus job security and more, all through the lens of a student perspective. The visual treatment was created through suminagashi marbling, followed by scanning and tweaking the prints, before getting lasercut plates of them, and using those for letterpress print making. Before combining it with type layouts prepped in Indesign, and curated public domain imagery.
