A short fiction film about human trafficking. Brief Synopsis: Ruxi's parents left for England when she was very young. Since then, she has looked after her Grandfather and her sister, Andrea. Just as the family fall on hard times, Ana comes into Ruxi's life, with a promise of a job in England... The fiction form allowed us to tell victims' stories without putting them in danger by exposing their identities. "Ruxi: The Road to Slavery" was made on behalf of IGNITE Oxford, a charitable organisation that fights against modern day slavery.
