A fresh look for the home of Welsh sports
Brief
S4C (Channel Four Wales) shows sports competitions such as le Tour de France, football World Cup Qualifiers, and the rugby Six Nations. My task was to create a new visual identity for the channel’s sports output that highlights the high quality of sports they have to offer.
Approach
I decided to use bold typography and a flexible colour palette to stand out from S4C’s other graphic output. The use of iconic, Welsh sport stars also highlights the talent on show on the channel.
Result
The new look will be rolled out for the forthcoming 2017/18 sports season on-screen, digital and print.
