Salt of the Earth

Quadrille Books commissioned me to photograph all imagery of Salt of the Earth by Carolina Doriti, a book about the food and traditions of Greek cuisine. Designed by Claire Rochford, the book (published March '23) has a sunny feeling and a strong sense of place. I utilised light and shadows as props and parts of the compositions, to avoid using too many objects and concentrate on the food as the centre of attention. The colour palette was kept minimal and simple throughout the book.
