I was approached with a really fun idea by the wonderful people at Dead Slow Tattoo and jumped at the chance to make it a reality.
Early 90's school picture day style portraits of the staff to be displayed in their retro living room themed stand at the 2018 Brighton Tattoo convention.
They each brought out their inner child and my assistant and I worked to emulate the aesthetic of the school portaits we all fondly (or not) remembered being subject of as kids.
Hand-me-down/outgrown jumpers, school ties in the shop's colours, a cheesy backdrop and revival of their juvenile selves in the poses made the concept come together.
It was too funny!
