See Better

  • Mariam El Dessouky

With social barriers being a main cause for the exclusion of people with disability, See Better aims to raise awareness about the variations of visual impairment, while allowing those with seemingly good vision to empathise with those without. This is achieved through the use of filtered glasses which allow the user to willingly experience what it is like to be visually impaired within a space, while relying on their other senses to make an assumption of their surroundings. Impairments such as those affecting sight should be greatly considered, as disability can become a part of a person’s life at any stage.
