SELAHATIN is a contemporary grooming brand with the ambition to combine art, science and industry to elevate the experience of everyday essentials. SELAHATIN approached BRITISH STANDARD TYPE to create a logotype, iconography and headline typeface to elevate the brand communications and provide distinction in the field.

Leveraging the part Swedish, part Turkish heritage of SELAHATIN’s founder, combining calligraphic contrast and nuances found in oriental type specimens with the precision of a neo-grotesque typeface. Alternate characters used in the logotype, typeface and iconography exemplify this language.
The typeface is used across web, social, content, OOH and packaging. SELAHATIN was named ‘one of the best new grooming brands in the world’ by GQ Magazine in 2017. The brand was nominated in Wallpaper* Design Awards 2019. SELAHATIN is available at top-tier locations in 20 countries.
