The Hear Me Roar art book is the second self published book that has I created (designed, edited and published) for Skull & Heart.
Details about the project: In the summer of 2015, Skull & Heart held a print exhibition in partnership with theprintspace in London, which championed the work of female artists in the art, illustration, graphic design and photographic industry. The exhibition featured the work of 34 artists, and comprised of 60 pieces.
During the exhibition we found that a lot of people were interested in learning more about the artists, and their experience in the creative industry, and so we decided to put together an art book which would look look more in depth at their work, and also feature an interview with them discussing their working life.
The S&H Hear Me Roar book is A5 in size, bound & contains 218 pages of full colour, featuring Artist illustrations & interviews, as well as a visual look-back at the Hear Me Roar exhibition. The book edition is at a run of 100 books, each book is numbered and embossed.
