What is true liberation for both sexes? I believe our souls have no gender. They take on different bodies. Liberation symbolises the connection between body and soul. Gender as a whole has been heavily socially constructed, we place too much importance on genitalia and let that dictate people’s gender identity. I am not a woman because I have a vagina, I am a woman becauseI identify with most aspects of ‘womanhood’. This short film depicts a physical reconstruction of the proportions of the human body, where the two subjects- male and female embrace both their masculine and feminine features and merge to become one.
