For a year I worked in Shackleton's London office and led online YouTube, social and blog coverage of Lou Rudd’s Spirit of Endurance expedition (covered in The New Yorker, New York Times, The Guardian).

On December 31st Lou Rudd was picked up from the Ross Ice Shelf by the ALE Twin Otter. He was then taken back to the relative comfort of Union Glacier and flown on to Punta Arenas, Chile. So ends the Spirit of Endurance – an expedition 104 years in the making.
