Project created for and presented at The Exhibition Transition at Ypres 2016, a major international, contemporary, forged metal design touring exhibition, hosted by Kazematten to coincide with the Ypres 2016.
Aim of the exhibition was to create work in memory of First World War. Also to show transition of blacksmiths craft during that time.
Using original shells from First World War I change the tool of destruction back to tools of creation.
