Shelter Spring Retail Campaign

  • Laura Walsh

A positive, uplifting campaign to get people to shop in and donate their pre-loved items of clothing to their local Shelter charity shop this spring.

The work I worked with copywriter Mihika Jeynarth and Creative Madeline Hackney at Shelter to come up with campaign concepts. I then designed posters, flyers and social media posts for the rollout. We arranged a photoshoot to hero the second-hand clothing and accessories and made them look fantastic. Using a bright, heavily patterned wallpaper by Yinka Ilori as the backdrop to bring a modern spring vibe.
I worked with the Creative Lead to source the products and plan the photoshoot under a tight deadline andlimited budget.
The result The Shelter shops have a spring campaign that looks as good (if not better) than any of their competitors on the high street (charity shop or otherwise!).
