Shinola Detroit made its debut at the award-winning Clerkenwell Design Week in London on May 23rd - 25th 2017. The Detroit-based manufacturer collaborated with London materials composer, Giles Miller Studio, to develop “The Bolt” - an architectural installation positioned within the iconic setting of St John’s Square in the heart of Clerkenwell. Described as a celebration of craft, the installation demonstrated Shinola's design credentials, through collaboration with a UK-based designer who shared comparable values and a love for quality design, materials, skills and composition.
