To those in my network, be it friends and meaningful connections, I haven't been able to give insight into what I've been doing in the past, however, I'd like to proudly say that a key moment during post-covid was being given the chance to take part in Huck Magazine's 74th Action Issue/Edition.
Being a part of a local basketball community for 6-8 years of my life has taught me so many lessons about life, and it's to stay strong and persistent towards your goals. As for myself, being a strong advocate for men's mental health which should be supported and highlighted in our communities during this day and age, I feel it is important that it should be thoroughly looked into and openly discussed.
This 74th action issue discussed the re-emergence of organized sports happening in our communities within London post-covid and was able to highlight and display young men's perspectives during that time. "In the UK, under-25s have carried the brunt of the psychological fallout from Covid-19." Mental health is an important topic that has to be discussed, especially among men, and this is a reach for communities to continue to stay active and keep that ever-lasting impact growing.

S/o to Alex King also, a great editor at best!
“But when you start to surround yourself with people that are more positive and have other aspirations in life, it motivates you. Basketball was a pivotal point in my life and for a lot of other people I know. It brought us together, too.
“For me, basketball gave me the opportunity to learn from other people – from older people. They would talk to me, give me advice. It showed me how to become better.”
