This is a UX design for a shopping basket. I was doing an improvement for one UK website, using these guidelines: Audience • Nearly all customers are aged 54+ • 44% male, 56% female Analytics • 42% of mobile users drop off at the basket page • 30% of tablet users drop off at basket page • 21% of desktop users drop off at basket page • Mobile basket drop-offs have increased by 15% in the last 12 months, considerably more than drop-offs for tablet and desktop • A high percentage of users do not make it from the product details page to the basket Market survey • 73% of users wouldn’t return if they had poor customer service • Recency and number of reviews of a product are important to customer to make a purchasing decision • Price, quality, delivery & returns and ratings are reviews are the most important factors towards making a purchasing decision
