Short Film Poster Design

  • Giulia Di Vilio

I thoroughly enjoyed working on this short film poster for my dear friend's Final Major Project (FMP). The project allowed me to exercise creativity, using the provided font and colour palette as the foundation for the design. For the drawing I used Procreate and I added texture to give it some depth. To ensure the poster aligned with the essence of the film, I watched the short film, enabling me to identify and emphasize its main focus in the artwork. The process was both engaging and rewarding, resulting in a poster that beautifully represents the essence of the film.

Exploring various versions and color schemes was an exciting part of the creative journey. After thorough experimentation, the first version stood out as the perfect representation of the film's essence. Its unique elements and colors captured the spirit of the project most effectively, making it the ultimate choice for the final poster. This selection process ensured that the chosen poster truly resonated with the heart of the short film and would leave a lasting impact on its audience.
