With a background in illustration & motion graphics and working with musicians, brands, and organizations, Zaira X. Aguilar took a year-long animation course at City Lit London in 2019. Later that year, she debuted her first short-animation, Mateo & the Ballad of the Sun, in the 8th Annual City Flicks Film Festival. She is currently developing a cartoon series pilot and submitting her short animation to festivals.
