Having worked closely with Silversea for a few years developing their Expeditions voyages, we were honoured to be given the responsibility to design and produce their Worldwide brochures for 2018.
SILVER CLOUD LAUNCH BROCHURE
After extensive refurbishment, Silver Cloud joins the Expeditons fleet and is now prepared to meet the challenge of Antarctica and the Arctic circle. With her ice-strengthened hull, she can navigate through ice floes and pack ice in complete safety. We were commissioned to design and copywrite a 60 page brochure to launch this luxury Ice Class ship.
SILVERSEA EXPEDITIONS ADVERTISING
With their fleet of small ships, five star service and amazing destinations, Silversea Expeditions are the only “true” ultra-luxury expedition brand. Supergroop were commissioned to create an advertising campaign to highlight their unique selling points while avoiding the usual travel industry advertising cliches. We also created a new strapline to be used across all Expeditions communications: Voyage Beyond Expectation
EXPEDITIONS THEMED VOYAGES
Silversea Expeditions voyages venture to some of the remotest places on Earth, but some of the voyages have special themes, such as bird watching, diving, wellness, photography and culinary experiences. We created a set of brochures teaming photography with creative headlines for each voyage theme.

SHACKLETON ENDURANCE EXPEDITION CENTENARY
Silversea Expeditions celebrate the centenary of Sir Ernest Shackleton’s 1914 – 1917 Endurance expedition with long-term partners the Royal Geographical Society (with The Institute of British Geographers). Clients can access archival material and photographs that dramatically capture Shackleton’s inspirational story of survival against all odds. Iconic images, originally on glass plates rescued from the sinking ship by photographer Frank Hurley, act as a powerful reminder of this epic feat of endurance.
As part of the celebrations we designed the promotional material including posters, advertising and a commemorative booklet of Frank Hurley's amazing photographic images, in the style of a travel journal. These were presented to guests, as souvenirs of their Antarctica voyages.
SILVER DISCOVERER LAUNCH
Design and production of a commemorative gift package presented to guests at the Inaugural christening of Silver Discoverer and to clients on the first voyage. The hull and slide box featuring silver foiling and Silver Discoverer identity opens to reveal a custom printed Moleskine journal and a set of voyage cards. Accompanied by a limited edition Giclée poster.
