Writing and performing original songs primarily with folk/classic rock band, The Rayes. My music has been reviewed and premiered by the likes of American Songwriter, The Big Takeover, The Deli Mag, The Boot, and American Standard Time, among others. I have performed at countless clubs and venues and toured the West Coast of the US in cities including Seattle WA, New York NY, Portland OR, San Francisco CA, Santa Barbara CA, Missoula MT, Boise ID, and others. I have also fronted all management, booking, brand development, PR, and media outreach efforts. The band has recorded with acclaimed producers including: - Johnny Sangster (known for guitar work with Neko Case, and engineering projects with The Posies, in Seattle, WA) - Shawn Simmons (known for engineering projects with The Head and The Heart in Seattle, WA) - Kevin Salem (known for engineering projects with Peter Yarrow of Peter, Paul, and Mary, in Woodstock, NY) - Tyler Postiglione (known for work with Pearla, and other work at Thump Studios, Brooklyn, NY) The band has worked acclaimed mastering engineers including: - Ed Brooks and Rachel Field (known for projects with Fleet Foxes and Death Cab For Cutie, in Seattle, WA) - Adam Dempsey (known for projects with Courtney Barnett, in Melbourne, AUS) - Sarah Register (known for projects with The Shins, Ariana Grande, and Big Thief, in Brooklyn, NY) Other notable accolades include: - Selected as one of 12 semifinalists out of over 100 applicants to participate in Paul Allen’s MoPop Museum SoundOff! Competition in Seattle, Washington in 2015. - Selected to play music for the Founder’s Award ceremony in Seattle, Washington, honoring Jimmy Page, where he himself was a guest among other musicians and music industry professionals. - Invited to provide background vocals on upcoming album for A&M Octone Records Hip-Hop/Rap artist, at renowned recording studio, The Cutting Room in NYC, and worked collaboratively with the artist, and his producer and audio engineer. Currently working with musicians Rebecca Stobbe, Ian LeSage, and Patrick Hagan, among others.
