We were tasked to implement this into a system that provides tangible user benefit. At the core of the brief was inclusivity - the product needed to used by all ages, activity levels and in a multitude of scenarios. The resultant design marries intuitive usability with versatile functionality while making use of minimal and inviting formwork
Sixty measures hydration and heart rate through the pricipal of photonics. Three different LED's shine red, light green and infra red while accompanying photodiodes detect the amount reflected.
Combining the stand alone device with the Sixty companion app gives the user expandede feedba ck and information on their hydration levels. Based on the last reading, the app will suggest possible symptoms and advice.
