Skarbnytsya

Skarbnytsya is the Glasgow based exhibition that celebrates young contemporary artists from Scotland and Ukraine. Skarbyntsya’s core values are to bring the public’s attention to young independent creatives and artists who have been displaced by the full-scale invasion and to provide a network for these makers with creatives in Scotland and across the UK. Skarbnytsya comes from the Ukrainian word meaning ‘space where the country's treasures are stored’. We chose this name because it symbolises the beauty of objects, with curiosity and appreciation.
