Creating an identity for Sky’s new channel ‘Sky Originals' The brief was to increase the brand affinity of the Sky brand, increase Sky’s reputation as a creative company as a creative company and increase perceptions of Sky as a creator of quality original drama.
Made You Look.
Inspired by George Orwell’s ‘England Your England’ how the nation are sleep walking this reminded me how Sky’s shows will awaken people with its originality. Sky Originals make you sit up and pay attention and makes you look. I used the O in originals as a graphic mechanism which blinks like an eye. I used it as a graphic elements across the branding of the originals.
Result.
I had an amazing opportunity to pitched to Ceri, Executive Creative Director, at Sky Creative Agency who were impressed with ‘Made You Look’ resulting to an offer of a summer internship.
